What is the product?  What do 3rd party laboratories do and how do they assist in identifying products?  The presentation will be geared toward identifying products through test methods and specifications.  Other factors will be discussed such as product contamination and how to determine the quality of fuels.

My career has been primarily in the Petroleum Testing industry holding various positions ranging from Chemist to Director of Quality.  My current role is Regional Manager of Midwest and Jet Fuel laboratories for Bureau Veritas.  I am responsible for the growth of laboratories through quality and capability improvements.  I work with customers to assist with product issues.  Jet Fuel issues such as, Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Stability has been a primary focus over the past 5 years.  I have been working with various groups such as ASTM, CRC and the Pipeline Jet Fuel task force to assist in understanding the issues and concerns regarding Jet Fuel.
