Abstract Submission for the Chevron Research Award of Excellence in Honor of John Bacha is Now CLOSED

Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract for the John Bacha Research Award of Excellence. The submission period has officially closed, and we appreciate the strong interest and engagement from our IASH community. 

Timeline:

  • Judging shall be completed by 1 June 2026.
  • Winner(s) will be notified by 12 June 2026.
  • The award shall be presented during the IASH 2026 Conference to be held 6 - 10 September 2026 in Toulouse France.

Award Details:

  • The recipient shall receive a plaque in recognition of his/her award.
  • The recipient shall receive complimentary registration at the conference.
  • The recipient shall receive a travel award to cover travel related expenses.
  • The recipient shall receive a $500 stipend.
